Meeting and Retreat Facilitation Not-For-Profit Board Retreat Facilitation A 501(c)(3) fund-raising organization was facing some crucial questions of its identity in the community, fund-raising strategies, and morale. The board of directors engaged us to facilitate a special half-day retreat to focus on surfacing the issues and creating a roadmap for resolving them. Based on the organization’s documented history, meeting minutes, and a series of interviews with the president and executive director, we developed session objectives, ground rules, and a focused agenda. In the session itself, we managed the discussion toward meeting the objectives, and documented the resulting actions. The organization is in the process of performing the actions on the roadmap with occasional continuing contributions from us.
